Fuel Injector Harness Question
How much truth is there in the statement" If you splice the wires on your injector plug connector, you will fry your PCM"( splicing supposedly changes the resistance measured by the PCM?) I have the following Injectors 1,4,5,8 that are not receiving pulse signals. Any thoughts? Also when checking fuel rail pressure, and there is none, the truck will run though,just not smoothly, I told my friend to check his fuel filter first, as he can hear the HP pump come on. These problems are related to a 1994 f-350, 7.5L FI. Injectors 2,3,6,7 are getting the pulse signals. Again, Thanks for any insight on these problems...Toby

Trace the wire back to the computer. There are two injector control wires (grounds) that are turned on and off by the computer to fire all 8 injectors. Check for continuity between the injector harness and the corresponding pin on the computer connector on the main engine wiring harness. Also make sure all the electrical connections are clean and secure.
