its not getting any ! lol.... i looked at the fuse , i checked the shut off switch . the gas is 3 years old ? could that be the problem ? when i poured gas in it it started right up , then ran out again , so its got to be the gas or the pump or injectors ....its a 1991 2wd explorer 4door with the 4.0 v6

When you turn the key to the ON position, do you hear the fuel pump run for a couple of seconds? If not, you have a fuel deliver issue. If you do hear it prime, then it could be a clogged filter, bad pressure, or bad gas.

People always say bad gas. What is bad gas? You mean to tell me 3 year old gas won't burn? To the contray, it burns even better as it tends to lose octane over time. The additives degrade and it burns much more readily. we don't have enough details of the problem to help here. What codes if any, does it not start at all, does it turn over...?
