No Third Gear ???
If anyone has expereinced this please let me know ... ASAP!
Driving last week and the truck runs and shifts fine - after a tranny overhaul / rebuild about 2 months ago - and suddenly the truck at 50 MPH on a highway seems to go into neurtal - RPMs are up and speed is dropping - after dropping to under 40 MPH and a hard down shift things are fine until the next upshift again @ about 45 MPH then the neutral thing again. My 1st guess was that third gear was gone but after pulling the tranny yesterday - my mechanic tells me its an electrical problem with the O/D? This was happening with O/D turned off as well as on - so I find that assessment a little strange.
Any one ever experienced this?
