1950 Steering Shaft Tube Removal
- The steering column tube can be removed with the steering box still mounted in the truck.
- For anyone who doesn't know the tube is flared on the steering wheel end and the bracket that holds the steering column in place does not slide past the flare.
- If you have ever tried beating your steering wheel off it is a lot easier to drill and tap holes as suggested here and use a puller.
