Hello all,my name is Alan and as you can tell by my username I live in Austarlia(down under).I have just bought a 38 pickup(beer barrel grill as they are nicknamed here) and need both rear fenders, even average to poor ones will do.
Does anybody know if lower door patch panels are available?
I hope you fellas can help me out with info as I need it while doing this project,I intend to keep the truck looking as found(but fix the rust) but run a 302 or similar and drop it a few inches, and upgrade the brakes etc.
thanks,
Welcome to FTE Alan! I hope that the folks here can help you out with all your questions.
Don't know about the patch panels off the top of my head, maybe someone else here knows. About the rear fenders you may try to post that in our wanted section.
Anyways, sounds like a neat project. Hope you stick around here and keep us updated with your progress. May even scroll through the '48-'60 forum as they have more people and thus more discussions on restoring old Fords (of course you have to post your questions here ).
Welcome Big Al:
Lower door skins, I think EMS in Cleveland Ohio makes patch panels for doors.
