Howdy and welcome to the best Ford Truck site on the net!! INteresting... I just acquired an 85 F250. Not sure how soon Im going to get it running and cleaned up fit enough to sell, but we'll cross that bridge if I ever get to it.
If you haven't already, please make sure to read the Guidelines and the READ FIRST notes in each forum you visit. They'll help a lot in the use of the forums. Also, check out the state chapters. There's a lot of great folks in your area waiting to meet you and your truck.

Thanks for the advice
I've checked out the forums and guidelines a little, but will get into more detail as I go along. I did do a search and found the answer to my first question, so that was cool.
I just bought a good running '85 F150 for use on our 5 acres. It drives great, all the lights work, appears to be getting about 18mpg, but we'll see. It has the 302, so I thought 15 would be good.
One weird thing, my front tank gauge reads empty when only down 10 gallons and from the postings here, it is a 19 gallon tank. I'll have to keep some gas in the rear tank as a reserve I guess.
Good luck with your 250.
