shoulder belts

In my 68 f250 there are threaded holes on each side of the inside of the cab where it seems that the shoulder strap of a seat belt would bolt up to. The truck has lap belts and the holes have rubber pieces covering them. Are these meant for a seat belt or something else?

Yes, that's where shoulder belts would bolt in. Do a search in this forum for older posts on shoulder belts. You should be able to find plenty of advice and help that way.
