just Recently my Dear lil Ranger has been vibrating when i Am accelerating while Driving but if i just rev it up when out of gear it doesnt vibrate I am thinking my Exhaust is becoming plugged up has anyone else experienced this ?
My Ranger is a 93 3 litre 5 Speed reg Cab 2wd lwb it almost feels like its plugged up when i am Driving but when i Depress the Clutch and punch the gas it Revs up fine also it glides down the road fine too
as soon as its in gear asnd i accelerate it feels like its having a hard time accelerating like its missing
If you think it's a miss and not a vibration I would check fuel pressure, pull codes, tune up as needed. To check the cat, put a vacuum gauge on the intake, bring it up to 2500rpm for a few minutes, if the vacuum drops you MAY have a cloggedcat/exhaust.
I managed to squeeze myself under the truck this morning and boy do I( regret it
the rear dif is leaking and the gear box is leaking to i put my hand on the Driveshaft and tried to wiggle it and it Seems pretty Tight I suspect all the leak action will have to be dealt with and then the vibration will go away
