hard shifting on my trans. need advise
I've got an 88 ranger auto with an a4ld trans. It has been sitting for the last 16 months . Each time I try to start it it fires right up like it it was just running. But the shifter it self has been getting harder each time to shift out of park. now it will not go back into park. are there any lube points on the linkage that have become rusted over time? This problem is only in the linkage not the trans itself. thanks for any help or advise given
