hello everyone i am new to this site. i was curious about a ranger i might be purchasing it is a 89 ranger v6 5speed w/ 57000 miles on it i was wondering what kinda gas milage i could expect from it. i did a search couldnt find anything. sorry if it has been posted before

It would be a 2.9L in 89. Reasonable off-the-top EPA estimate would be about 18city/22hwy, assuming tip-top shape, of course.
Basically, about 3.slow gas mileage, but better grunt off the line.

FYI that year doesn't have the 100,000 mile speedo, most likely that truck has 157,000 miles so be aware. my 78' silverado shows 34,000 miles but it has rolled around 3 times which means it has 334,000 miles.
