1953-1956 Beds Fit Tooo
I was chatting with a guy last night, and he told me he found a NOS unassembled bed for his 1945. It was a 1953 model. I asked if a 53 would fit and he said the bed dimensions were the same for 1942-1956. All he had to do with the 53 was to add some 1/2 inch shims between bed and frame. The later model beds do not have the subframe that the earlier ones have. Just thought this was useful info that should be passed onward.
