Oil Fill Adapter - 2004
I brought my 2004 Explorer to the dealer for an oil change. Somehow, they broke off the plastic pipe that is used to poor new oil in. It is a black pipe that the cap screws into. The vehicle is only 1 year old - I am a little confused as to how this can happen. Has anyone else had this issue with one of the 3rd gen explorers?

Make them get you a new one. If they broke it they should take care of you. I would ask nicely and if they don’t fix it I would go rite to the top of what ever dealer you took it to and demand satisfaction. If they don’t help you take it to the regional customer service Rep.
