Question turn signals for '38 1/2 ton

I've got a '38 1/2 ton that I want to add turn signals and heater to. Can anyone help me with what to be getting for it? I'm going to 12 V. with drops for some gauges. Is there such a thing as an electric heater for these older vehicles or just the hot water hookups? Thanks JH

Since directionals were not standard equipment for your year you must use something that will adapt to your electrical setup. I've got a directional unit that I had on the stock column of a '46 truck that included emergency flashers. I wired it into my lights and it worked like a charm. I also have a "Tropic Air" heater that was in the '46 that may have been a stock item (I don't know) and had the double doors and rotating front to direct air flow. Mounts through the firewall on the passenger side. I also have some vintage SW gauges that are in a below dash panel, oil, temp, electric, and are the 2 3/8 size. All these items are not going into my current truck so they are still around the shop.

Hi Elder! Sorry this response got delayed. Are you interested in selling any of those extra things you mentioned? All the gages except fuel and trip meter work now. Are yours in a long chrome panel? My wife likes the sound of the heater, she says to make sure the door opens ALL THE WAY to the passenger side so she gets the full effect!!! See ya--JH
