Question

Buying new tires

I have 2001 ext. cab 4X4 with 50,000 miles. It has the original tire's which are 245-75/ 16". I would like to know if 265 x 16" will my ranger with stock
suspension.

I believe that was a stock size on the 4x4.

Ken00, I want to know if 265 / 16 " tires will fit on my ranger. Will there be enough clearence around my fenders. The tire's that came on the truck when I bought it new are 245 / 16"

i had 265 75 16s on my 98 i wenr down to 245 75 16 and thind my truck works beter with the smaller tire. I had problems stoping the bigger tire on the ice.
