Pre-Luber Question...
Okay, so it's cold out so I plug in the truck to keep the motor warm. But I also like to use the oil pre-luber when I start to give me the oil pressure prior to start. So why is it I cannot get oil pressure from the pre-luber prior to start if I have had the truck plugged in? If I don't plug the truck in and it is really cold, I can cycle the pre-luber and oil press will eventually come up. But plugging in the truck keeps the Pre-L from bringing up the oil press... Is there a valve preventing this? Maybe the cold weather oil bypass valve to get oil to the injectors to get the truck started? But then if the whole motor is warm, then oil press from the Pre-l is anot a problem... It only does this when the motor is cold with the exception of having the block heater plugged in.
