Powerstroke Oil filter on Pre Powerstroke Engine.

I attempted to put a Powerstroke filter (Motorcraft) on my 91 7.3, however the threads ARE NOT THE SAME????

Ideas???? Which larger filter should I use??? Brand??? Wix???

My dad put a OEM motorcraft powerstroke filter on what was then his and is now my 1994 7.3L IDI factory turbo. It Fits fine.

I use Fleet Guard LF3630 that is for the 7.3 Power Stroke on mine.

Did you have a 6.0 filter? I do not know if those are the same or not.

you need the FL-1995 filter
