Bought a "certified pre-owned" 03 Expy EB a couple weeks ago with 34,000 miles on it. I also got the full bumper to bumper extended warranty. I'd like to know where I can find if any warranty work has been done on it. Is there any warranty work I should have done before the factory warranty runs out? I've read through all the TSB's for the truck, now how do I know which ones pertain to me? And if one does, does it mean I need to go to the dealer to have work performed? Thanks in advance.
Give the VIN Number to a Ford Dealer (Service Department, Service Writer) and ask them to run an OASIS report for you. If that vehicle has been taken into Ford for anything it will show up on the report. It will also show any prep/repair work done before it was sold and will also give you the Build Date and original Date in Service.
Try to go to the dealer where the truck was serviced by the previous owner, if possible. The OASIS report only shows the past years worth of service history. The entire service history is stored at the servicing dealer.
