i found a rim/tire combo that i am most likely going to buy (my highboy lost a tire this morning between the college and the high school) besides, i needed tires anyways. what i found was a set of 33 bfg m/ts on 16 inch rims, which are 8 lug, 16", aluminum, 3 swept-hole, off a 99 dodge ram(factory) would they fit or would they be a metric 8 lug? and anyone know how they would look?
I know that some of the Dodge 8 Bolt wheels have to narrow of a center hole and will not slide over the Ford Rear. The front isn't a problem.
I know this because I bought a Cheap 8 Bolt rim with the right bolt pattern on it and later found out that the center hole would not slide over the floating axle part of the drum.
So, to make it work, I had to move the front wheel off to the back, and use it on the front. That only works for a spare.
If you want all four wheel to work, you'd better check the center diameter before you buy.
