how fast have you gone in a expy

how fast have you gone in a expy
i just learned of a 1/4 mile track in my area and it is part of a abandoned airport we got my friends 04 expy up to a 148 miles a hour thanks to a little help from a nice police officer who used his radar gun to clock us man was that fast.

5400 lbs, 260hp, and 148mph? With a JATO bottle maybe?

That is fast in 1/4 mile. Had to run a 9.5 or so....

What did you do, get a running start down the hill? I've had mine maxed and I know it wasn't doing more than 130 and definately not in a 1/4 mile. Hell a Cobra stang only does 10.4 and 136 in the quarter.

my fault i was told later today it was not a true 1/4 mile for some reason everyone refers to it out here as the 1/4 mile when it is actually .85 of a mile, and it makes more hp with the nos kit installed right in the bottom of the throttle body.

That is a fast Cobra, Stock they do 12s. Ive had my expy up to 100 and thats it.
