Question 1991 F250 Diesel Steering question

Have a 91 f250, had a 02 f250. Loved the steering and mirrors from the 02. Hate the mirrors and steering on the 91. Has anyone ever made a 91 body style pickup turn sharper? If so How? Takes a blooming mile to turn this extendedcab long box around.
Also looking for some 02 style mirrors for the 91 style body. Found some from a company called sure-plus that might work. Have the heads on order.
Anyone ever put tube steps from a 02 style f250 on a 91 body style? I can make the brackets myself but was wanting to see what other people have done. Just hate running boards in the snow and mud.

Donny, i don't care much for the mirrors either. my '91 had the west coast/california/trucker mirrors that were put on by the PO (my wife's uncle slim). i removed those and put on a set of aftermarket swing away mirrors. they were a perfect fit and match to the OEM mirrors, but the quality is not there: they are loose and i have to constantly adjust them. i have also kept myself awake at night thinking of a way to put late model mirrors on our body style. i just checked out the sureplus website. which heads did you order? was it the :SUPER SHARP DUAL-VISION MIRROR HEAD WITH OEM FORD-STYLE ARM ASSEMBLY
i like those! i could live with those.

Yeah it was the SUPER SHARP DUAL-VISION MIRROR HEAD WITH OEM FORD-STYLE ARM ASSEMBLY I already had the Arm so i just got the heads and goose necks. It was $60 plus shipping. I will let you know how they do. I wanted to put mirrors like on the 99 to 04 style but I didn't want to loose my wing window. I coulded fabed up a nice bolt on but resale would suffer.
Still would like to find a way to turn sharper.

yes, please let us know how you like them. i paid 50 with shipping for my aftermarket mirrors. i'm going to try to tighten up the swivel joint and see if that works. you know, i hated the west coast mirrors that were on there, and now i kinda miss them. i let them go at a garage sale for 20 bucks.
