I have a 1993 5.8 Ford Bronco and i just broke the wires that hold up my tailgate and i was wondering if anybody knew of a website or place that i could get them.
Next i want to change my oil in my truck but i bought the truck used and i dont know how many quarts it takes, so if anybody knows that it would be really helpful.
6 quarts go into my 88' - atleast to start with
the cables for the tailgate shouldnt be hard to find i believe they make universal ones that are supposed to fit all tailgates but i seem to remember a relative of mine having trouble making one work
Just a word of advice, use the Ford original cables. They are a bit pricy, but the after markets have issues, or so I am told. I just bought them about 6 months ago. Oh yes, ford has an obsolete parts department that can locate ANY part that might be lying on a shelf at some dealership. I just got a new ford original tailgate for my 93' bronco. It cost a bit more, but It is heavier metal, anodized, and stamped from original dies.
