you want just the grill, or the entire front grill piece that goes around lights and all? If you want all of it, its quite a pain, if you want just the grill... pop hood, remove the plastic piece above the grill, by prying out the plastic rivets, they pop right out. then you can see down in front of the radiotor and see the back of the grill. All the way around the outside of the grill are plastic tabs. you have to go all the way around loosening and loosening until the tabs start to pop free. patience is very important here, but take your time and you should be able to work it free, and it will pop out of the front of the vehicle. warning...i didnt do this myself, but watched as my friend did mine, he does autobody, it seemed simple enough, took him about 20 mins.
actually, i dont think it popped out of the front of the vehicle..it may pop back towards the radiator and you have to pull it up ad out. You'll see once it starts to loosen. just be careful not to break any tabs, or when you put it back in it wont sit in nice and tight. Good Luck.
For what is worth, it may be easier to pull the whole grill surround and work with it off the truck. No doubt the surround is more work, but its basically some screws (two in behind the turn signals), some plastic push clips on the sides just above the bumper gap, and two squeeze clips located on palastic arms in the middle of the grill (they are popped open with a flat srewdriver from the bottom of the vehicle).
The grill clips are then super easy to get at and work off. Even with the grill surround out, getting all the clips released at the same time was a bit of a job. With it still in the truck I can imagine it would be a real pain unless you have some way of holding the clips open as you release them (they are tight).
