2005 Tribute oil filter

Just bought a 2005 Mazda Tribute with the 3.0 engine. Anyone know what oil filter it takes? Hope its the FL-400S since that is what my 2000 Ranger 3.0 takes.

Checked the owner's manual but it does not list it.

hi the correct filter is a FL 820 S Your 3.0 is double overhead cam and the Ranger 3.0 is a single cam in block

Confirm that the correct filter is a FL 820 S for your 3.0 Tribbie.
