Question '64 Ford 262 I-6 Performance Package?

Fellow FTE'rs;

I have some basic knowledge on this subject, but I really could use some input from others that are not as close to my 262 I-6 project as I am.
It's been a while since I was able to do any tinkering, & if you don't use it, you lose it, knowledge that is.

Ballancing
Blue Printing
Porting
Polishing
3 angle valve job
Dual header
Holley 2 bbl on Clifford intake or Duce Holley single bbl.'s on Fenton intake
1958 223 head
Mallory or Pertronix ignition
Methonal/water injection system; passive w/on demand set-up

262 to 277 c.i.?
292 +60 Pistons?
300 Rods?
Offset grind crank .040?
300 c.i. distributor?
ARP rod bolts & caps?
Gapless Molly rings?
Cast piston?
Performance valve springs?
Roller rocker?
synthetic oil?
Oil cooler?

Anything else I might be forgetting?

Thank'ee
Colonel Flashman

That's a tough one for a forum than almost always talks about the newer 300 cid inline six. Might find some help in the '61-66 truck forum on this site. But really, I thought the 262 was mostly used in bigger trucks and was only installed in pickups in '64.

Talking

T.P.

I've found them installed in just about every year of the the run in the F & M-100's, mostly special orders, though there were a few exceptions.
Already did & I'm waiting for a responce.
I also thought that someone here might be into crunching numbers as it were or because of experience working on other Inliners some basics might transfer over into my project.
That's why I put a list up, to see if I left anything out or put something in that I shouldn't have?!.
I'm looking for advice from a group that in the past has answered the challange from others w/ flying colours.

Cheers
