The Lights and grill on the 92-96 f150 look way better than the 89. Would it be too hard to swap out my 89 grill/lights for a 92-96 set?

Well, you'll have to swap pretty much the whole front end (bumper and everything) for that to work.

At least, you will have to swap the hood and the fenders. The core supports might be the same, not sure. I agree, changing to the new bumper would look better. Seems like alot of work just for aesthetics, but people have done it. My friend changed his '73 Suburban into a '90 by swapping the whole front clip. It looked great when he was done with it.

Yeah the core support is different too. Easiest way to do it is find a 92-96 wrecked in the rear and buy the entire frontend, hood, fenders, grille, headlights, bumper, core support and all the hardware that goes with it.
