2001 Ranger / B2500 fuel guage light replacement
the light for my 2001 B2500 fuel guage has gone out, the rest of the instrument panel lights up fine. How do you get to the lamp to replace it? Tried to remove the face panel over the instrument cluster by removing the 3 screws that go into the dashboard at the top but afraid to start yanking

You have to pull the under dash panel,and the radio bezel .then you can get to the screws that hold the guages in.I just pulled my guages forward enough to change the bulb without disconnecting them.Yeah,its kind of a pain,but that one light being out just bugged me to no end.Oh yeah,you dont have to disconnect the radio,just pull the whole assy. out enough to get to the screws.there are two screws just under the radio,then four push type clips holding the bezel on.the under dash panel is just held with clips,pull it SLOWLY and carefully,install carefully and align all the clips then push each one slowly or they will break off.
