Thumbs up Edge mini spring pak installed!

This past Friday I drove up to Cranbrook, BC and had Do_the_Duty (Kevin) install the Edge mini spring pac, Bilstien shocks and 4" blocks. Excellent service, fair price and a definite improvement in ride. Measured height increase of 2" in front and 2 1/2" in rear. I can tell you that his service is fast and he knows his stuff and has a real passion for SD's. Nice guy too. Well worth the trip! eh Kevin?

Is this like an add-a-leaf that goes under the factory spring pack?

It's 4 leaves that are bolted to main spring pack to lift front 2". Front rides a little firmer but new Bilstien shocks have more rebound control then stock ones did. The Bilstiens are the best improvement I've done to this truck. Overall, the ride is more controlled and not so "truck like". Kind of like a well handling car now. Also gained more clearance for the 315's I run.

Having driven over most of north America with a wife that is always along with me and we both wanting a ride that does not beat us to death, I'll take my soft ride anytime over a "log truck". Firm is fine, having a balanced suspension system and control is what I'm looking for. I've tried the Ranchos and that's why I'm running the Bilsteins. Try them, you might like them

That's pretty cheap, were those oem replacements?
I think the 5100's are a bit more.

I got mine from www.eshocks.com
