I am a Raised White Letter man, I have always had them and think they look great. And with Westly's wheel brite the letters look like new till there is no tread left. BUT ... black is not a bad look either. This is one of those questions that there is no right or wrong answer It is just a matter of what you think is best. Just look at the many galleries posted or go to the dealer and stand back and see what looks good to you. It is like the paint you choose, every one here thinks thier's is the best and guess what.......
Beleive it or not that is one thing everyone of us will agree on and not argue about
Raised White Letters, or Blackwall? I am getting new shoes: BFG AT TA 285/75/17 on stock rims for now... What do you think?
Silver XLT Scab Flareside
Black is beautifull! LOL!!!! Some tires are available with no raised white letters...that is the best choice or put the letters toward the inside and spray them to cover the lame (IMO) white letters. It's not like BFG is going to pay you to run their raised white letter rotating billboard facing out. LOL!

I agree.

White letters SHOWING, without a doubt. Get some of the bleach-white cleaner, and they'll always look good. I had all black on my first F-150, and when I got BFG AT's, the white letters made the truck look 100x's better!
To each his own, though. Do what you think looks best!
I've always had black outside. The new Lariat I just bought has the white letters showing and surprisingly it does look great with the white truck. The whole thing has a very classy look to it.
just put some 33" 17's on my red fx4. they aren't goodrich...they're wild country mud terrains....but black on the outside looked better than the white letters to me.
