my 97 expy just got smashed... need front end advice
I had a guy test driving an Isuzu Trooper blow through a red light and I T-boned him the other day. The wreck took out my drivers front fender, bumper, grille, headlight, and bent the hood a bit.
For those interested my expedition caved in the side of the trooper, ripped the differential off of the leaf springs, snapped the rear driveline, shoved the rear tires back into the rear sheetmetal, and tossed the thing across 3 lanes.

Anyway, I am on the hunt for a new nose now. My question is: Can I use the front bumper/valance/grille/etc off of a 99+ expedition/F150? The newer style nose appears to have the same mounting locations but I thought someone on here might have had some experience with it. Advice anyone??
You should be able to. I am not for sure, but I would think they will interchange providing you use the entire front clip fron the 99+. You shouldn't need the front fenders off the newer one, but check just to make sure.
Everything looks like it should fit, but I really don't want to go buy everything and find out halfway through that something won't line up. Parts are still a bit hard to find over here so looking for parts from a 97-02 F15/Expedition instead of a 97-98 widens up my opportunities a bit.
