Gauges, Heater and Lights stoped working

I recently changed my alternator and about three days ago my dash gauges, Heater and Headlights stopped working. The gauges and heater works just fine until I press the gas then all fail, however the headlights never work now. The battery gauge reads High and the battery light stays on. Could this be a bad alternator? The only lights I have is Fog Lights. I am stumped and have no clue. PLEASE HELP!

Welcome to FTE.

I would say that the alternator is bad. The autozone by me checks them for free, so I would find a place that will check it, and find out if it really is bad.

Have you checked the voltage regulator on the back of your dash? This item controls the low voltage going to your gauges. It isn't your alternator at all. The part isn't that expensive either.
