axle info
We're looking for info on the gear ratio on a 1992 F250 460 7.5L.
We went to the door panel and found the axle code of C9.
We looked in the manual to translate the axle code but the code C9 wasn't in the manual.
We need a 4.10 but aren't sure about this truck.
Does anyone know or know where to look-say in a book or manual-to find the code that this truck has?
The dealer said a mechanic could open up the differential to find a placard with this info, but since we have the code, we just need to translate it.
