Kermit: since you're at Pt. Mugu, can we assume you're in the Navy? You'll like the area. It's fairly close to anything you might want. Check out the other forums and make some friends.

 

yeah, im in the navy.....going to VAW-113. I have been in the area before, back in 2001 when my father in law was in the navy, and i was getting in the navy, lived there for a couple months while waiting for boot camp, so i was excited to get orders back there. I do love the area.

well, i am finally here (actually, got here on monday) and am living in the camarillo housing, catalina heights. pretty nice, but i think i would have prefered to live on mugu.

 

Catalina Heights, im on the other side of las posas from you. do you know Ruby?, his name is Javier Rubacabla (spelled the last name wrong, thats why we call him ruby) He has the little old Powder blue datsun pickup on the corner a block down or so by the school.

 

cant say that i do, but i will keep my eye out for him
