Aux. fuse block wiring?

Aux. fuse block wiring?
I know very little about wiring
I want to install an auxilary fuse block in my 79 f-250. How do i go about doing so? Does anybody have just a basic diagram of how to do it? I was just thinking of running a wire from the solenoid to the fuse block and then running the various wires off of it. What is the right way of doing this, I am lost. Also does anybody have a color chart for a 79 wirring harness?
