Obviously not my ride, but he does have 16.5x14 Stone Crushers:

Pretty nice style wheel.....I have a set of 5 that I'll be putting on my truck, just not that wide.

Are you thinking of a set for your truck? If so, with what tire?

Hope this helps.

Thanks DC,

I can get 4 used ones in real nice shape for cheap money.

What is the minimum width to run on them?

Not sure what would be the minimum width in tire. Personally I'd run a fairly wide tire like the 39.5" Bogger or the wide 39" Mickey's.......or if you went up to like a 44" STS or Bogger or maybe even TSL.

Although, I have seen 38" PJs on 14" Welds before.......made the tire look kind of funny IMO with the wheel that wide.

Hope this helps.

Ya I figured my Swampers being 38x15.50 would look funny on there.
I guess if I get them, it will open a whole new money spending fiasco that Im not sure I want to get in to.......More Spring, more shocks, new tires, etc.

Yeah, that's kind of the only problem I see with 14" wide wheels.....you're limited in terms of tire choices since it would have to be over 15.5" wide. Out of curiousity how much $$ are they?

If you found a sweet deal on some 12" wide ones then you'd have a lot of choices.

I was lucky to get a good deal but only on 16.5x9.75.

If I didn't live in god forsaken NY, I would be a lot happier and my truck would be a lot bigger, I hate NY DOT

Tell me about it, I'd much rather live in a state that's lift laws were few to none.

But, you might be able to fit 39.5" Bogger or Mickeys with your current setup.......all that X in the pic is running is a 12" Whiplash lift.

Real good price on the wheels though.

Ya, I guess I could get 39.5's on there, it's not like I beat the truck up or anything. I may just grab them and hold on to them for future consideration.

NY has laws on how high you can lift a truck? What are the laws?

And if you decide not to use them I'd think you'd probably be able to sell them for more than what you paid.

Right now, frame to ground is at 30" but from what I remeber, they are trying to impliment more stricter laws.

the wide micky's would work with a wide rim like that.... but damn dude, you'll look like a *** driving a chevy with that much tire sticking out.

These are the 16.5x14 Mountain Crushers I run with my 39/18 Mickey's. I would think 15.5 would be a good minimum size for 14's! At any rate... I'd buy them all day long, for that price, if I could.
