I recently picked up a color matched canopy for my truck that has electric locks, interior lights and a 3rd brake light.
I have the correct plug and wires from the canopy dropped down near the spare tire and will chose the best way to wire it in when I am confident in what the plugs do.
I have done a bit of research online and have mixed information.
Which connectors near the spare tire have lock, unlock, and power for the light. High mount brake light and ground seem pretty straight forward...

I know my 20 has an actual wire that is marked for the CHMSL, and I think I just tapped into the tailgate loom for the lock and unlock. Sorry, I wish I was more help
