Parts fell off my 66 F350

Been driving it for years now however I found a long bolt with a 4 inch spring and two beveled washers in my driveway.
Investigating there is same setup on the rad support beside the rad. No idea what function these serve as the structure seems rigid.
What are these units for ?

Post a photo or two.

I still won’t be able to help you, but it’ll keep your mind busy and occupied so you don’t fret over it.

Hoping this helps some.

C1TZ-8130-A (C1TB-8A482-A) - SPRING - RADIATOR MOUNTING - 4 5/32" long - 12 coils

C1TZ-8131-A - RETAINER - RADIATOR SUPPORT TORSION SPRING UPPER

C1TB-8A441-B - RETAINER - RADIATOR SUPPORT TORSION SPRING LOWER

Some of the 4x4 trucks used the same setup as the F350. Holds the core support to the frame while allowing for some torsional movements or flex.
