First real issue that isn't readily solvable. Wife got a message that her software in the Expedition was successfully updated as she was turning it off when she got to work Tuesday morning. Then the dealer picked it up for an oil change, recall work, adjust the headlights, and a few other things that they actually weren't told to do. None of these should have involved plugging in a computer or unhooking any wires since the recall work was a brake line inspection.
Since then, neither her or our son's phone will connect to CarPlay, either wired or wireless. She has done a hard reboot of the Sync 4 system, unpaired and re-paired both phones, made sure her iPhone software is up to date, turned bluetooth on and off, every suggestion that I have seen to resolve connectivity issues has been done short of replacing components and/or hooking up a computer.
She's going to stop by the dealer on her way home from work today to have them look at it, but in the meantime I'm looking to see if any others have experienced this and what was done to repair it.
Any thoughts? I know there aren't many of you in this forum compared to the F150 and Super Duty forums but here's hoping.
