I'm having trouble locating a fuel tank that is WITH Vapor Recovery System. All aftermarket tanks state WITHOUT Vapor Recovery, but a lot of them show the small nipple on the tank in their description photo. Does anyone know the difference between the two tanks. I'm thinking about purchasing one and taking a chance on it having the nipple and if it doesn't, I will just weld or braze in a nipple to connect the vapor recovery system line. I already took a chance on a $50 junkyard tank and it leaks. Has anyone else run into this issue?
I would expect that any tank sold for a US market vehicle would have the vapor recovery. But as the post above suggests, if you're worried about it, talk with the manufacturer.
