Ok well here it goes. I have been fighting this thing. One problem after another! Pick this 05 expedition 5.4l 3v with 140k miles. Great condition. Traded one car for it as it is a step up. Was running rough. Had multiple random misfires originally. Did whole timing kit o. It. And found one injector stuck. Got everything pretty much caught up and done. All codes gone but 2. P0351 for coil A. And bank 2 lean. Used a NCV to do a quick test. Found that all 7 coils are switching but coil A. Tried new coils (3 to be exact) all same issue. Did a quick test and pulled connector off of the coil next to it and put it on cylinder 1. Coil works perfectly. So maybe the plug is bad? Replaced the plug. Nope. So I thought maybe there is a rub somewhere on my trigger wire. So I run a whole new wire from pin 17 at pcm that is my trigger (tested continuity from pin 17 to plug and it’s good. Even went to ground. Not grounded) at the coil. Same issue. I pulled the pin at 17 and the wire has constant 12 volts from the coil. I’m lost. I don’t know what to do next. Please help!
Well. After more and more research. I am thinking it’s my PCM. I’m hoping it’s not. I can’t afford that. I can buy the pcm but to have it programmed. Just can’t swing that. But I’ll hold out hope as I haven’t had any help yet.
