2004 - 2008 5.4 3v Computer questions
I'll preface with I don't know if this is the correct spot for this question, move it if needed. This is my first post.
For a little side money, I'm working on replacing the motor on a 2004 F150 5.4 3v (Timing failed, threw a rod). I'm replacing the engine with an engine from a 2008 Ford F150 that I'm rebuilding. I'm using the 2005-2008 style cams and phasers with blocks, with the sensors from 2004. I was wondering if the 2004 ECM is going to understand the difference/ any other differences I need to be aware of.
