I'm here. Just hit the wrong link so now I am in November. Had a great hike yesterday to the cell towers on Irish Hill. Went up a new route that was a real challenge - very steep. Managed to get my heart rate up pretty good.

Howdy Jim. Way too busy with work and now even busier at home. My little brother is going through physical therapy right now after having a stroke last month. Luckily caught it fast and got into the hospital fast to get treated for it. He will be out of commission for sometime while he recovers. How are you doing?

Hi Shawn. Great your brother made it to the hospital quickly to be treated. Hopefully he recovers fully and quickly. I'm doing fine. My cousin was diagnosed 3 years ago with brain cancer. Doctors predicted 12-18 months but has made it way past that. Unfortunately he is now in really bad shape now so not looking like much longer.

I know how that is. My mom had breast cancer. Went into remission for a few years and then came back with a vengeance and spread to the bone and started to affect her liver. December of last year she ended up in the hospital after falling at home. Then physical therapy. And she got sick there and back to the hospital. Then in January she passed away because her liver was causing an ammonia build up in her body.
Good Sunday evening woodchucks. Three grandkids here all weekend so no time to chitchat here. Finally the house is quiet. Bit of snow on the ground this morning but now it is a cold rain.

Good Tuesday evening woodchucks. Got an inch or two of snow here in the hollow, lots more up north. Perfect for deer season. Need to get out and do a bit of scouting to see where the snow shows activity. Have a good night.
