I assume you're talking about the Ford mobile charger that comes with most of these trucks? That one is rated at 30 amps. However, since there's supposed to be a 20% buffer you'd need a circuit providing almost 40 amps to power that charger....unless the charger is smart enough to throttle itself down and just use the amount of electricity it can safely get. I do not know for certain if it does or not. I had my electrician put a 40 amp circuit in my barn for my truck so that there'd be no problems. (And, separately, Ford covered the cost of a 60 amp circuit in my garage at the house.)
Thanks for all the helpful information. Since this is my first EV it has been a little of a learning curve. I am using my dryer 30 amp circuit I did notice that my AC charger setting in the app was set to the max 48 amp. I have since dialed it back to 24 amp and things seem to be working well now.

You are fortunate that you have a 2023 where you can set the max charge current. For prior model years this is not a selection that is available.
