2005 f350 6.8l - during Idle the engine slowly begins to overheat
I am working on a 2005 f350 6.8l V10 - from cold start (idling only) it takes about 15 minutes to start going past the Normal heat range and slowly keeps moving up to almost Red Line before I shut the engine down
after I shut engine down, the Radiator Coolant Reservoir was full and the coolant bottle was hot so the coolant is at least partially flowing - I did Not have my infrared thermometer temp gun with me to get an actual reading off the thermostat cover - no coolant leaks anywhere - Before I start troubleshooting..... what would the most likely issue be?
