so I’ve replaced the o2 sensor at b1s1. Got the above codes still. I see tonight in FORScan I get no volts from this sensor. I tested the plug and find power. Where do I go next? Test the ground? If so, how?

make sure there’s no sealer on threads. You will need to back probe to find the disconnect.. O2 wire being exposed under a vehicle makes them susceptible to rodents and environmental damage. We need more information on your vehicle.

thanks. Back probing is on my list for today. What other info is helpful?

the white wire is the O2 heater wire. The heater helps O2 to control fuel trim while engine in warming up. Without the heater the O2 would be sluggish responding to drivability situations when engine isn’t warmed up.

I tested and confirmed continuity on all four wires at the pcm. I knew the 12v wire had continuity already. Since the battery was unplugged for a good 20 minutes, I’m hoping that reset the KAM. Fingers crossed I have/had an old code issue. I’ll keep this updated with what I discover.

check control center for a fuse for the O2 heater wire. Look in your owners manual.

There is a fuse. It looked ok but I replaced it nonetheless last night. Bank 2 is working fine and my understanding is both banks get power from the same fuse/circuit. Appreciate you sticking with me.

This guy's videos are worth watching. As he says in the second one "new does not mean good". He has suggestions for simple sensor swaps, if the part numbers are the same.
Search "O2 sensor" on his channel and you'll find more.

Is that your truck scan? If it is that’s a lot of noise. I would do a thorough check for corrosion at the ECM all the way back to sensor connector.. or the new sensor is corrupt..As with my ECM it’s in a bad place at the passenger side kick panel. It’s susceptible to salt and moisture and dirt so corrosion at the pins and sockets.

excellent videos. I’m going to try replacing the sensor again after a few more tests.
replaced the sensor and by change. Connected my test light and realized I had been mixing up bank 1 and bank 2. So hoping to start diagnosing the actual troubled sensor on Thursday.
