Repairing hood and prep for paint 1999 Mercury Mountaineer
Paint shines pretty good on my Mountaineer, except the hood and roof. Going to paint the hood eventually, but decided to go ahead and repair some damage and get it in primer. Opted to fill the dents versus beating on them and making the damage worse, and the hood blanket is decent and didn't want to tear it up. Stripped the damaged area, applied filler, sand, repeat, then coated with urethane primer. I'll take the hood off to sand prime and paint, after I get some paint color matched.
