Traded in my 2016 F150 2.7 ECO Boost on a brand new 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands. Only a few days in and really enjoy this ride. Plenty of power while still driving in ECO Mode. Do like the 26.5 MPG already and haven't even gone through a tank of fuel.
I just got my Bronco Sport Badlands last week. My wife totaled our 2025 Escape (she's OK with just a few bruises) and with the insurance money we decided to move up a bit. IMO it drives and rides better than the escape. So far I am loving it. Probably should have bought one instead of the escape. At the time I just didn't want to spend the extra money.

It is a great ride, not much road noise at all. It is smaller inside than the 2020 Escape that we have, but all the extra driving modes are really cool. I just turned 4200 miles and going to change the oil now. I read a post that someone was having trouble with the correct oil filter, I am planning on using the FL-910S and the correct 5W-30 Motorcraft oil as I do on the Escape.
So completed the oil change, wow! The skid plate is quite heavy and the fact that it bolts to the front lower portion of the metal bumper was fun. You have to remove 10 bolts completely then muscle the plate out. Also should have looked at the manual as the filter is a FL-2127 or FL-500s. Funny how its different than the 2020 2.0 Escape, but its done. Just thought I would give some feedback on the process to remove the metal skip plate as you cant just loosen the back two bolts and remove the other 8 and slide the plate off.
As far as I know it's just a Badlands. It has the tow hooks front and rear which I believe is why the lower portion of the bumper is actually steel. I was surprised and impressed as my F150 only had a fiber type engine shield.
What kind of mileage are you getting with your Bronco Sorts? I am about 5000 miles into mine and right now about 28 MPG highway/city combined. I have the 2.0 4 cylinder, plenty of power and usually have it set to eco mode. I have been using 88 15% ethanol fuel because its cheaper than the 87.
I only have about 3k miles. My wife and I usually drive it back and forth to town, etc. No road trips yet. We are getting about 24 mpg. I rarely use Eco mode and to be honest, I love the feel and sound of "getting it on" on flat stretches of road on our town trips.
I am really impressed so far with the Bronc Sport. I am really glad I found this one with the 2.0 ECO Boost and six speed transmission. I have only driven it in Standard and ECO modes so far. I know on my 2016 F150 ECO Boost that the sport mode really made a big difference in how that truck drove. So I think I am going to try it on the Bronco and see how much it changes the ride.
My wife has a 2023 BS Badlands (2.0 EcoBoost) and it will get over 30 MPG on road trips if you're careful. We traded in a 2018 Escape Titanium because it would get high centered in deep snow. It was a GREAT little SUV, but just couldn't reliably get out of the driveway!
Got the recall done for the cluster. Getting ready for the second oil change already, almost 10k. I did get to drive in the snow and used the 4wd button. I also tried the locking rear diff, both worked great.
