I spent more time today than I'd like to admit lifting the truck camper and removing some of the wood spacers underneath so the camper would be as low as possible in the bed without touching the cab. I had to wrap chains around the frame/axle to prevent the back end from rising with the camper and the 3 working legs required 12'' of 2x6s short cut pieces and the 4th corner got the sliding jack and a 4' length of 4x4 lol. There was a good 3.5'' gap before and now it's more like 3/4'' so over all I'm happy.
Also took off the jacks and lightened the load another 150lbs!
3” over cabins just about perfect! 3/4” over cab is not a lot of clearance. I’m betting you will most likely get some cab slap from camper hitting your trucks roof on rough roads.

Yeah that seems to be the consensus lol. The camper only cost me a grand so if it gets a bit beat up I'm fine with that and I could care less about the top of the cab, it's bedlined anyways. Anyways no rough roads for this rig anymore as I'll be using it only in long term pay sites or Provincial campgrounds so worse case scenario I go very slow over speed bumps
