missfire and fuel trim issuses

2011 Escape 2.5 AWD 201,000 mileage. I have probably normal blow-by for engine. Burns /leaks 1 quart every 6k miles. Intermittent miss usually after about 10 miles driving. Miss sometimes clear after several miles . Plugs clean but replaced anyway. Top of pistons looked okay. Had spare coilpack and went down the line checking each but still miss. Went from 25.8 MPG to 24.2 within 500 miles. Started car and now MPG 17 but varies as driving. My Innova 3160 reader shows Short and Long Term fuel trim all over when miss occurs. No miss showing almost no fuel trim but with miss going from -3 to +3. No codes present or stored. Car runs great when it does but hard shifting , bad shaking and definitely loosing a cylinder or 2. Thank you for any thoughts and help.

Clean the MAF sensor as a preventative measure.

Check for vacuum leaks.

Does the engine get up to temperature?

My escape had a stuck open thermostat that reduced the mileage significantly (but is older 2006 2.5L hybrid).

Thank you. I drive a somewhat regular route. Some days 20 miles no problem. Other days 10 miles OK then it acts up 10 miles home . Sometimes alternating good and bad both ways. Too irregular. Yes , temp,good. MAF cleaned.

No code posted for which cylinder or perhaps indicates all cylinders misfiring?

maybe the O2 sensors or exhaust recirculation would be next to check, but I would think error codes should be posted for those.

thank you but still looking.

Because it is so random it's a tough one. Because the MPG electronic indicator is changing with no major fuel trim, thinking computer. But need better info before spending big bucks. Injectors replaced now waiting for O2 sensors. Retired with plenty of time to kill.
