RTV or brand new gasket?

hey y'all.
I'm replacing the knock sensor on my 99 Expedition 5.4 L Eddie Bauer and obviously replacing things while I have everything taken off of it.
Can I just use some RTV on that water port part for the gasket or do I need to buy a whole new one?

would really rather save $75 if I can but I know that rtv isn't always the best way to go.
if there's a different product I can use... lemme know!

Get a new set, that gasket is done. Even if it wasn't torn, it should get replaced, especially when your that deep into it.

Definitely a new gasket. Even if you can get the tear sealed, the rest of the gasket has been flattened, whereas a new one won't be...creating a better overall seal.
