Hello Forum! Today i noticed that my truck begin to mix oil and water, i tested the oil cooler and its ok, i want to know where it can mix. If you have the diagram of the cooler system would be great! thanks
There is not specific diagram of the cooling system per se, there are however some coolant seals on the inside of the timing cover that could have sprung a leak. If the engine passes a block test I would do a coolant pressure test and listen through the oil cap.. You could also take the cam sensor out and possibly stick a boroscope inside the timing cover or listen for leakage. And if you're sure the oil cooler is good then its either the front cover leaking or the heads/head gaskets. Head gaskets can leak even if an engine doesn't overheat.
